About ASCALON STUDIOS

Ascalon Studios was founded by the Hungarian-born master sculptor and industrial designer Maurice Ascalon (1913-2003); together with his son David Ascalon (b.1945), an architecture and design graduate of New York's Pratt Institute.  Through the decades, the talented in-house designers and artisans of the firm have adorned hundreds of institutional environments, houses of worship, and public spaces through North America.

With departments specializing in donor recognition, stained glass/architectural glass art, sculpture, and sanctuary/chapel design, Ascalon Studios works closely with each client through a collaborative process to create
truly unique and innovative projects that meet the aesthetic needs of the architecture, and the practical needs and sensibilities of the commissioning organization.
Ascalon Studios has won prestigious international design competitions and awards, including from the American Institute of Architect's Interfaith Forum of Religion, Art & Architecture.  Selected biographical information can be optained by clicking on the photos below.
